What Our Guests Say

I would just say that the Bookmobile was the most surprising and fun thing we've encountered since moving to Sheldon! We saw it drive by one day, and, especially with two toddlers in a pandemic, the idea of the library coming to me was just the most amazing idea! We've had a great time with you-- the kids love story time and the songs and activities. My 4 year old was already an avid reader/listener and the bookmobile staff have always catered to his interests and come up with hilarious and fun books, from superheroes, to Wookies, to We Want A Dog (which he memorized! lol). My now 2 year old was more distracted when it came to books, but we were surprised at the board books he loved-- I remember the first one he insisted on re-reading was "123 Count" and since then, from the rainbow garden book, Hungry Catepillar, and of course Bizzy Bear and We Want A Dog ... he is now bringing me book after book to read to him until my voice gets hoarse and I beg for a break. Not only that but Mrs. Hadley is so kind, resourceful and welcoming-- she evens lets us know about community events in the city we might not have known about ... given we are more isolated now in very rural place.
