Bringing Books and Stories for Everyone
Winter Break Bags are back!
If you live in the towns served by the Maple Run School District (St. Albans Town, St. Albans City, and Fairfield) the bookmobile crew will bring your child a bag of new and like new books to enjoy during February school break! Each bag will contain 1-4 (depending on length and reading level) books to enjoy and keep! We will also include some age appropriate activities and craft ideas to keep your child busy during the break. We will bring these books right to you and best of all they are free!
Just fill out the form below. Make sure we have your physical address, we will be delivering the book bags right to your door! And don’t forget to tell us as much as you can about what your child likes to read about. We will do our best to match their interests with the books we have.

My family doesn’t live in any of the towns served by Maple Run School District. Can I request a bag for my child?
Unfortunately at this time we are only providing Winter Break Book Bags in Fairfield, St. Albans Town and City. We are working on expanding this program in the future.
I have more than one child, can they all receive bags?
Yes they can! You will need to fill out a form for each child. Each child will receive their own bag that will contain books picked based on their interests.
My family lives in Fairfield but our GPS/mailing address says Sheldon. Can we still request book bags?
Yes! We know there are a lot of places that are served by post offices in other towns so the address used to find them isn’t the same as your physical location.
My children are homeschooled can they receive a book bag?
Yes! As long as you live in the towns served by the Maple Run School district, your children are eligible to receive a bag.
When will my child receive their bag?
It is our goal to have all the bags delivered no later than the end of the day, the Friday before break begins. If we have trouble finding your house, this may delay delivery.
Why do you need my address?
We hand deliver the bags to your door. They are not mailed.
Can I give you my PO Box?
Since these are being delivered by us to your house, we will not have access to your mailbox. That is why we ask for your physical address.
My child is older than 18 but developmentally delayed can I request a bag for them?
Yes! Please do! When filling out the form please make sure you give us their reading level so we can bring the right level of books and activities to you.
