At our core, we believe in the power of literacy to transform lives. Our mission is to foster a love for reading and provide access to books and resources for everyone in our community. By engaging families and individuals, we aim to create a supportive environment where learning and curiosity thrive.
We strive to bring resources directly to neighborhoods, ensuring that everyone—regardless of their background—has the opportunity to explore the joy of reading. Through collaborative efforts, we encourage community involvement and advocate for the importance of early childhood education.
Every week, we host engaging story time sessions designed for young children (0-6) and families. Our lively readings help spark a love for books and learning in the little ones.
Our program works with farmers to provide library services for farm workers and their families. Our collection includes books in Spanish and French.
Be part of our ongoing community events that celebrate reading and education. These gatherings provide a space for sharing resources and strength in our commitment to literacy.
These special bags are crafted for kids to enjoy during school breaks, featuring fun activities, games linked to reading, and each bag includes up to five books for young readers to keep.

We absolutely love it! We call it the book bus and it’s literally a field trip everytime you come. It’s amazing that you come directly to us. It’s something all my kids talk about when we plan our weeks/ months is the book library on wheels! My kids go stir crazy and pick out sooo many books; I have to remind them we have to save some for other programs! As soon as we get back inside they can’t wait to open up the books and read them. Not only has the bookmobile bus made them like books, it makes my kids want to read and learn about books. I absolutely love the fact that they can pick out what interests them vs me finding what they would like. We are blessed to have you!

Students and youth in the Maple Run School District will be able to request a bag with 2-5 books and activities for Winter Break. Sign up will be available at the end of January.
